Guess what--I've switched schedules and now am working on Mondays. So I'll be blogging on Mondays too. I think that most of the readers of The Pit don't work on Mondays, so this means you'll have a post to catch up on FIRST THING on Tuesday mornings.
We had a little fun in the office with O'Neal's The Box, and decided to showcase our own "Monday" version of the project. I think I spy Obama in the Box above. Speaking of celebrities, HDB and CS had an interesting celebrity siting last week at the MoMA opening of the Rothschild drawings exhibition: a child star and famous twin (from a TGIF sitcom rhyming with "Bull Mouse") at the opening with (her bf??) an artist (let's refer to him as N.L.) in the show.
Also media-worthy is William Powhida's show at Schroeder Romero (ahh, but New York Magazine beat me to it!) I just saw his piece "Post-Boom Odds" on page 41 of the magazine, and noticed that N.L. is missing from this list of peers. I love the 7-5 oddds for Dana Schutz.
Be sure to check out Bill's show, "The Writing is on the Wall" until May 16th.
Schro Ro hearts the Pit!!
