Fred Flare: Besties Forever

Check out Fred Flare's Ice Cream Festival this week (search around his site for Keith's "BFF" blog to discover a little Christina Mazzalupo treat). Christina's exhibition, "Types of Kinds: A Study" opens at Mixed Greens May 30, 2008.

SHOUT OUT: Harold Arts

Above is a pic from the NEXT Art Fair booth of Harold Arts, a non-profit based in Chicago that organizes an annual intensive arts residency in Chesterville, Ohio. This was the first time I was made aware of the organization, and I was glad to be introduced to the work of the artists in their booth (all Harold Alumni). Applications for this July's residency are due today (sorry, this is a little late), but it's great to keep in mind for next year!

Too Cool for School

We're nearly done with the install. "VW Bus" is still underway, but nearing completion. And to quote Lee, "our booth kicks a$$." Some serious a$$.
