above: detail shot of work by (left to right) Anne Polashenski, Austin Thomas, Rachel Beach, and Amy Pryor
Today, I'm begining with a detail shot of some of the works highlighted in yesterday's post. I realized today that the shot was so far away, it was difficult to see the individual pieces. Unfortunately that's the problem with a MASSIVE group show--the best way to see it is, of course, in person. Be sure to stop by (Tues-Fri, 10am-6pm @ Mixed Greens). X is on view through August 14th.
1. Christina Mazzalupo, Types of Syndromes 2, 2008
2. Howard Fonda, Untitled, 2007
3. Susan Hamburger's set of The Presidential Line of Succession Playing Cards (limited edition of 10)
4. Carlo Vialu's March, 2008, (lint)
5. Mark Mulroney's Mistakes Were Made, Over and Over and Over Again, sketchbooks, 2002-present (the sketchbooks will be swapped out over the course of the show)
6. Zoë Charlton & Rick Delaney's book, Entice/Intice, 2009 (Edition of 3)--it records all of the spam email they received over the course of a year.
